Our client is a global US owned Bio-Pharma science based organisation. With offices throughout Europe, this position is based in Swindon, Wiltshire and is a full time permanent role.

The role is a varied and challenging position incorporating the following responsibilities:
To lead and provide technical support for the specification, purchase, installation and qualification of product assembly equipment.

Projects will include new and existing products, capacity expansion, process improvements using semi and fully automated assembly equipment and packaging machines. You will also be responsible for fault finding, diagnosis/correction process improvements on existing equipment as well as exploring new technologies in automation engineering and process technologies.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a graduate or min HND in Electro/Mechanical Engineering or similar disciplines. You will have excellent hands on Engineering experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment as well as automated product assembly & packaging design equipment.

With extensive automation technology and process development knowledge, you will be able to actively demonstrate your ability in fault finding for manufacturing equipment and excellent project management skills.

Essential:
You MUST have the following experience:
Programming of various PLC Systems
Risk analysis/FMEA
Statistical Analysis/ SPC System
Six Sigma methodology
Design of experiement for process development
